Kitchen Remodel - Bethlehem Township
The goal of this stunning kitchen remodel in Bethlehem Township, NJ was to increase space for a work-from-home couple. A spare room near the kitchen was used to increase the size of the existing kitchen and create a second home office.
To extend the footprint of the kitchen in length and width, we had to build a platform in their sunken living. The added space allowed the homeowners to upgrade to a Thermador 36-inch gas range top and a stack of wall ovens that includes a warming drawer. The remodel also allowed for the addition of a 36-inch counter depth Jenn-Air refrigerator, which was placed in the area that once was the dining room. A Jenn-Air wine cooler was added on the perimeter of the living room.
To accommodate the new layout, the active panel on the kitchen Andersen sliding glass door was reversed and a new Andersen window was also installed above the kitchen sink. The maple Yorktowne cabinets feature the Morris door style on the perimeter in White Icing. The island cabinets are Macchiato and are topped with honed Carrera marble. The perimeter counters feature quartz tops by Pental Quartz in the color Coastal Grey. The backsplash also features honed Carrera marble and is accented by a herringbone mosaic wrapped with a marble pencil border.
